The courses will not open

  1. Launch the Chrome browser. Safari is not supported at this time.
  2. In the top menu bar click the word Chrome.
  3. Select Preferences from the drop-down.
  4. A new window will come up, click on the Content icon.
  5. Make sure Block pop-up windows is unchecked.
  6. Note that to right-click you must use your CTRL key.
  7. Note that the delete function may require you to hold down the Fn button while clicking on the delete key.

I am experiencing log-in issues
  1. Be sure you are typing www.promisepoint.com/yourorganization. Contact your organization for the correct community web address.
  2. When entering your username, please be sure there are no spaces before or after your username.
  3. If your organization set up your username, check with your organization to confirm the username you are using is already setup..
  4. If you are self-registering, be aware of duplicate usernames. They system will not let you sign up with a username that is already taken.
  5. If your username is still not working, or if you have other issues related to logging into the community, please provide the following details when emailing support to expedite your request.

    * Username
    * Your institution/employer/practice
    * Short description of the problem/issue you are experiencing
I am experiencing courseware/simulator issues

The courses will not open

  • Ensure your popup blocker is disabled. If you are working on an organization computer request permission from your IT Support Team to complete this step.
  • Clear Cache & Cookies in Internet Browser.
  • Access the courseware through a different Internet Browser; if possible use Mozilla Firefox or Chrome. Don't forget to disable pop-up blockers.
  • Try to open and play the courses from another computer.

Connection Speeds

  • An active internet connection is required at all times.
  • For reasonable access, download speeds faster than 500 Kbps are needed.
  • Bandwidth utilization approaching 35% may cause latency issues and a poor user experience.
  • Bandwidth should be 240 Kb/s per concurrent user and the roundtrip time should be less than 150ms, average.
  • Broadband connection, T1/Cable/DSL or greater.
